Finance and Operations “Vendor collaboration”
Inviting vendors to collaborate directly At Dynamics
365 for Operations improves the seller's visibility of purchase orders
and guarantees a shared view responses to buy orders. This lessens the
miscommunication and misunderstandings which can happen when the PO is
exchanged by mail or fax.
The performance for collaborating with Topical vendors can
now react to individual purchase order lines and suggest modifications, such as
fresh dates, quantities, split a line in fresh delivery dates, or substitute an
item with a new item.
The Purchase order verification Workspace enables vendors to
see which POs they will need to react to, which POs are awaiting confirmation
from the customer, and which POs have been verified but not yet processed
together with product receipt.
Vendors can suggest changes and Exchange documents.
Clients can share documents and notes that are associated
with buy orders with vendors, for example, to clarify requirements. When a
vendor responds to a PO, there are different messages that are shown when they
Accept, Reject, or Accept with adjustments.
A new external seller administrator Security role enables
vendors to include new contacts and update information about to ask new seller
alliance users.
Users with that role can also ask that particular vendor
user accounts are inactivated, or security roles are modified. The identical
operation is available for customers in the client company.
Vendors can track the consumption of Consignment stock to
see if the client takes ownership of stock. The On-hand consignment inventory
page shows the vendor the actual stock level of the stock that the client
hasn't yet taken ownership of. The Buy Orders swallowing consignment inventory
page shows a list of the purchase orders that were generated hen a transfer of
ownership took place.
